More Planning Meetings

My partner and I sat down yesterday to start planning the marketing strategy for our company, which brought us more into an integration discussion, since the general vague idea for the company is combining two very different disciplines of marketing and finance.

The exciting news which I have not discussed here is that we should be able to get a government contract for services offered by one part of the company. The big question is whether or not we will be able to offer our other services to customer's who come through as part of that contract.

So here goes, I am learning about more and more things each day. Now I will be spending time at the local SBDC to learn about government contracting, a place I never thought that I would be. Though this is based on some insider intel I received while networking.

I am loving this so far, its like riding a roller coaster, you never know which way the track is going to turn. All you can do is hold your hands up and say weeee.

I am not saying that it is not hard or frustrating, there are constant roadblocks along the way. I just try to think of it as an adventure, and it never ceases to amaze me that I end up somewhere I never thought I would be.
